Synopse
»God abandoned this country a long time ago«: Bulgaria, a broken society, consumed with greed, violence and social division. A handful of taxi drivers are on the road with their fares. Each journey illustrates a different section of society, in which ethics have been replaced by egotism and excess. When one of the drivers shoots a banker who has suddenly demanded twice the usual bribe for a loan, the news spreads like wildfire among the other drivers. Is the perpetrator a murderer or a hero? Directions is an episodic portrait of a European country heading for the abyss.
