Synopse

This impressive drama is about a man fighting for justice. Traoré (Isaka Sawadogo, seen in The Invader, FILMFEST HAMBURG 011) works as an engineer on the freighter Diego Star, where mobbing and mismanagement rule. When the ship is stranded with engine failure in wintry Northern Canada and has to be towed into the little port of Levis, Traoré is given the blame. He defends himself, but stands alone. The only person he can trust is Fanny, a single mother. When the authorities get involved, Traoré decides to publicize conditions aboard the Diego Star.
