Synopse
A gripping film noir – with style, suspense and a story that dances on the edge of the abyss. 1962: Johannes Leinert (Jan Bülow) and his doctoral supervisor (Hanns Zischler) travel to a physics conference in the Swiss Alps. An Iranian scientist is scheduled to present nothing less than a theory of everything. But he is delayed. In the meantime, strange things begin to happen: a German physicist dies. And a pianist (Olivia Ross) knows things about Johannes that she cannot know. When she suddenly disappears, the young man finds himself on the trail of a secret that has put down roots deep under the mountain.

TIMM KRÖGER (*1985 in Itzehoe) received excellent reviews for his first film Zerrumpelt Herz. Die Theorie von allem is his second film and ran in competition in Venice.
