Synopse
Mark Rucker’s debut film is an homage to the melodramas of the sixties which starred ageing heroines such as Bette Davis and Joan Crawford, while brilliantly maintaining the balance between comedy and melodrama. Former Hollywood diva, Angela Arden (Charles Busch), kills her husband, film producer Sol Sussmann (Philip Baker Hall), with the aid of her young lover, Tony (Jason Priestley). But her daughter, Edith (Natasha Lyonne), and son, Lance (Stark Sands), plan revenge for the murder... An entertaining larger-than-life farce somewhere between Hollywod kitsch and Greek tragedy.
