Synopse
A woman‘s corpse of is washed ashore on a North Sea beach. A clue leads inspector Nora Jaspers (Anja Kling) to talk show host Karl Kress (Ulrich Tukur). She travels to Berlin, where Kress claims he is a victim of slander by right-wing populist and police president Michael Kolberg (Hanns Zischler). Kolberg in turn is Nora’s father and she finds herself caught in a net of intrigues spun between red-light district, TV studios and the interrogation room. A gripping political thriller with many twists.

NIKI STEIN (*1961) has made numerous episodes of Tatort and award-winning TV films like Bis nichts mehr bleibt [Until Nothing Remains] (2010) and Rommel (2012). In 2015, his film Öl – Die Wahrheit über den Untergang der DDR was shown at FILMFEST HAMBURG
