Synopse
Jakob Franck (Thomas Thieme), a former inspector in the murder squad, has only just retired when he's faced with an old case: a desperate man (Devid Striesow) who doesn't believe his daughter committed suicide, seeks his help. Although there's no real reason to doubt the suicide theory, Jakob Franck begins investigating the circumstances of her death. This psychologically clever thriller, based on the novel by best-selling author Friedrich Ani and directed by Oscar® winner Volker Schlöndorff, seductively draws the audience in.
