Synopse

Criminal psychologist Bach (Christoph Waltz) and state prosecutor Stein (Susanne Schäfer) reopen an old case, convinced that the sex murderer sentenced nine years ago is innocent. But in the village where another similar crime has since taken place, they run up against a wall of silence. The local police inspector, Lorenz (Hermann Lause), is convinced the right man was sent to prison. When they learn that six other men had contact with the victim on the night of the murder, the villagers turn against them. A precise and tense psychological drama by Swiss director Markus Imboden.

MARKUS IMBODEN (*1955 in Interlaken, Schweiz) has been director and author of numerous feature and TV films since 1986. His last visit to FILMFEST HAMBURG was in 2016 with Tatort: Wendehammer in the TV section competition.
