Synopse
Werner Kreye (Joachim Król) is urged to undertake ever-riskier financial transactionsby his adviser at the bank. Kreye has no idea of finance and still less ofthe rules of the game, but he trusts his bank, especially in light of the fact thathis son Martin (Franz Dinda) is in the process of making it big as an investmentbanker in New York. When the crash comes, Kreye loses his entire savings andhappiness. A family drama based on real events in the banking crisis of 2008.
Regie
URS EGGER (*1955) studied film direction at the American Film Institute in Los Angeles. Since the end of the 1970s he has made cinema and TV films like Opera Ball (1998), Restrisiko (2011), Ein Kind wird gesucht (2017) and most recently the award-winning TV film Shillings From Heaven. In 2015, his film Der Bankraub was shown at FILMFEST HAMBURG
