Synopse

Patrick is impulsive and unpredictable. After the suicide of his mother he wants to confront the man whom he sees as responsible for her death. Many years previously, his mother had an affair with a gigolo, a Dr. Borz, who dumped her after one night. As if on autopilot, Patrick circles ever closer to his presumed father, who has for years been living another life with wife, daughter, son and an enormous aquarium. Patrick gatecrashes Borz' 60th birthday party - and makes it unambiguously clear that the guests are attending a party they will never forget. Regie

Sven Halfar (*1972) studied at Hamburg Media School from 1998 to 2000. His graduation film "Ist gut jetzt" won Best Film at the Rome Short Film Festival. After making various short films and music videos, "DeAD" marks his feature fiction debut and had it's World Premiere at Berlinale 2013.
