Synopse

The neighbours know Jens K. as a self-confident man, successful manager, father of a family. A man who keeps his garden in order. But Jens is also a person in the wrong body, as he feels more like a woman. For this reason, he wants to become Sandra. The film accompanies Jens/Sandra during this process. Relatives and doctors are interviewed, along with the neighbours in their north German provincial backwater. An intimate, respectful observation of one person's change of identity. A story of late happiness after a decade-long fight to establish one's own identity.
