Synopse
This film breaks a taboo in Nepalese society: the love of two women. The story revolves around 22-year old Diya, who dreams of being a professional dancer and is encouraged in her ambition by her best friend Kiran. Although her parents have already promised Diya to a man, the friendship with Kiran develops into a love relationship. To be able to live with her, Diya defies Nepalese moral convention and tradition and disassociates herself from her husband-to-be. As the two young women openly show their different way of living, they come under serious threat.
