Synopse
Huge kingdoms once fought for supremacy in the region of today's Mali. Bambara was the mightiest of them and Da Monzon, son of Monzon Diarra, the most famous king, ever to inhabit the throne in Ségou. His victory against the army of King Bassi Diakité of Samanyana was his greatest triumph. Sidi Diabatés film, commissioned by Mali's minister of culture and produced by Mali's National Cinema Centre, tells the story of this legendary battle in breathtaking images.
