Synopse

When Adam meets his girlfriend Wanda’s family, he sees a country house by a lake and a large family enjoying a late summer. Having come through a divorce, drug addiction and unemployment, he now aims to make a fresh start with Wanda. But this setting is not as idyllic as it seems. The family’s emotions are strained, and Adam is warned off by Wanda’s brother-inlaw. The longer he stays, the more he is drawn to Wanda’s sister, Marta, and the deeper his involvement in the family’s dark conflicts, ending in death and a revelation. A claustrophobic and intense big-screen debut by 29- year-old director, Lukasz Barczyk.
