Synopse
"The sun shone, having no alternative, on the nothing new". Thus begins Samuel Beckett’s novel "Murphy", which serves as a foil for Alejo Moguillansky’s "Castro". The eponymous protagonist (Edgardo Castro) is neurotic and convinced that he must flee his marriage with Rebecca (Carla Crespo) in order to live again. Besides, he needs a job – his new girlfriend will leave him anyway. And seemingly threatened by mysterious figures, Castro runs for his life in this sinister, absurdly funny story about the insanities of human aspirations.
