Synopse
CBGB (also CBGB's or CB's) was a legendary New York punk nightclub on Bowery in Manhattan from 1973 to 2006. The full name, CBGB OMFUG, is an acronym for Country, Bluegrass, Blues and Other Music For Uplifting Gormandizers. The performing bands included The Ramones, Blondie, Talking Heads and Patti Smith. Director Stein has assembled archive material, photos, old interviews and new to present an intriguing chapter in the history of rock music.
