Synopse
The astonishing life of Wachtang "Botso" Korisheli. The 92-year old musician, sculptor and treasured teacher of several generations of musicians left the then Soviet Republic of Georgia after the execution of his father, was locked up by the Nazis and fled – penniless, but full of hope – to the USA. There, he studied music and founded a music school in California. His special way of teaching influenced and inspired some of the music world's greatest figures, like six-times Grammy winner and new director of the Hamburg Opera Kent Nagano. Botso tells the story of this extraordinary man, for whom art was everything.
