Synopse
May 1968 revolutionizes the lives of students Catherine (Laetitia Casta), Yves and Hervé. They move to a commune in search of utopia, but the conflict of personal and societal freedom makes them break apart. In 1989, Catherine and Yves’ children are young adults who witness the downfall of communism, AIDS and changing societal systems. This moving portrait of two generations is interspersed with documentary images ranging from the sexual revolution over the Mitterrand era to Nicolas Sarkozy.
