Synopse

Nine-year-old Bonnie grows up in a rather unconventional female household. Together with her resolute grandmother she looks after Lis, her mother, who keeps oscillating between feeling on top of the world or down in the dumps. When the grandmother dies in an accident, the little family is in danger of breaking up. Lis comes up with a solution in her very own way. But is an elephant in one's garden not bound to cause new problems?
