Synopse
Joseph Mathew Varghese’s melodrama pays homage to the city and the myth of Bombay. Geeta (Tannishtha Chatterjee) is a successful, young businesswoman, seeking to meet the requirements of work and family. It doesn’t help much that she is having an affair with Jaidev, a prospective novelist. Jaidev in turn comes from awealthy family and must learn to get a grip on everyday life. Their lives change when the two of them meet Madan, a bon vivant living on the edge of legality.

Joseph Mathew Varghese moved to the United States from India in 1994. He hast directed the documentaries"The Last Season: The Life and Demotion of Baltimore’s Memorial Stadium" (2003) and "Crossing Arizona" (2006). "Bombay Summer" is his first feature film.
