Synopse
A middle-class Israeli family live on the border to the West Bank. While outside the political conflict simmers, inside tensions are jeopardizing the family's unity. After 20 years in the army, the father can't deal with civilian life. The mother is frustrated with her job as a teacher and accepts the erotic advances of one of her pupils. And, against the wishes of her father, the daughter is involved in the peace movement and befriends a young Palestinian. When Omri, the son, gets wind of his mother's affair, the fragile situation escalates. In a tragic catalogue of coincidence, resentment and aggression, the film reflects the condition of a whole country in the microcosm of one family.
