Synopse

For Sophia Loren, it is her 100th screen appearance, while her son, 29-year-old Edoardo Ponti, here makes his debut as screenwriter and director. The film centres on the lives of three women from the same neighbourhood in Toronto. Olivia (Sophia Loren) is unhappily married and has never got over giving her daughter up for adoption as a young woman. Natalia (Mira Sorvino) is a photo journalist troubled by not having helped a child in Angola. Catherine (Deborah Kara Unger) is a cellist obsessed with reconciling herself with her father. An emotional drama about loss and guilt, with a quality cast.
