Synopse

DOCUMENTARY The diagnosis: a brain tumour. Bernd asks the director to accompany him and make a film about his illness. A moving story about not waiting another minute to realize your dreams. For a year, documentary film-maker Dietrich Duppel filmed his friend Bernd. In hospital, during radiotherapy and MRI. They attend a friend's wedding, go on one final sailing trip, visit Bernd's home town of Eckernförde, move into the palliative care home and the hospice. They have conversations – about life and death. Bernd is busy making plans when the cancer returns.
