Synopse
Beirut in the 1990s, under Syrian occupation. An Egyptian documentary filmmaker wants to make a film about secret service interrogations of dissidents and gets caught in a net of intrigues and corruption. Meanwhile a young, married Lebanese is shot by a US embassy security guard. These two subplots move towards each other inexorably in this dark thriller. Unfortunately the print didn't arrive. The screening has to be canceled. We are sorry.
Regie
Samir Habchi, born in 1961, director and writer. His other films beside"Beirut, Open City" are "The Tornado" (1992) and "Lady of the Palace".
