Synopse

They used to be stars. On stage and on the big screen. Now they bide their time in an old people’s home. Then Jerzy (Jan Nowicki) moves into the home and brings life into the group. What is there to do with so many actors in one place but stage Goethe’s "Faust"? In his feature film debut, renowned documentarist Jacek Bławut has cast actors who did in fact work with Andrzejy Wajda, Wojciech Jerzy Has or Tadeusz Konwicki. A film about love, time and … actors!

Jacek Blawut, born in 1950, director, cinematographer, writer and producer, has worked as a cinematographer with Krzystof Kieslowski, Marek Koterski, Feliks Falks and others. Directed many documentaries including "Die Unnormalen" (1990) and "Born Dead" (2004). "Before Twilight" is his featurefilm debut.
