Synopse
Deep in the jungle, everything goes on as usual until a lantern lights up one night. Drawn to its glow, countless insects flutter towards the light, much to the delight of the hungry bats in a nearby cave. But one young bat refuses to join the hunt and instead sets out to help a firefly, a fly and a moth.
Regie
Lena von Döhren was born in Berlin and works as a director, animator and illustrator in Switzerland. Her award-winning short films have screened at international festivals worldwide. Bats & Bugs premiered in the Generation Kplus section of the 2026 Berlinale.
