Synopsis

After his divorce, André moves in with his father (Brazilian film legend Carlos Reichenbach) who lives as a recluse with his dog in a small, stuffy flat. Living together isn't easy: the father is preoccupied with the fate of his other son, who disappeared under unexplained circumstances during the military dictatorship 30 years previously. To get closer to his father, André shows him old Super8 films of his brother. But the old man doesn't want to know about the past. In his highly prized, award-winning debut film, Michael Wahrmann creates a world full of melancholy and quirky humour. Screening on 27.09. and 29.09. in attendance of: Michael Wahrmann (Director)
