Synopse
The early 1990s in a US suburb. Two teenagers and their parents are being questioned by police. Their statements reveal a series of memories – and the circumstances of a tragic crime. Jack, one of those being questioned, was living with his single Mum and had difficulty finding friends. That changed when she met a new boyfriend and Jack got to know his son Mark. Jack and Mark were like brothers. Two outsiders who'd found each other. The duo became a trio when classmate Sarah joined them. They skipped school, got high and skirted the question of whether what they had was more than just a friendship. As You Are is a cleverly constructed coming-of-age drama whose title refers to the Nirvana song Come as you are.
