Synopse
On her birthday of all days, Maja (Janna Striebeck) learns that her husband (Martin Lindow) is cheating on her. At first, she lays all the blame at his door, but then in conversations with friends shecomes face to face with the deficits in her life. Between everyday life, longing and self-irony, all the characters are searching for fulfillment. A bitter-sweet comedy about dealing with personal crises and the chance to reinvent oneself.

Ulrike Grote (*1963) The actress and writer won the 2005 student Oscar for Der Ausreißer, her graduation film from Hamburg University. Since then she has been making films for TV and cinema, including Die Kirche bleibt im Dorf (also as a TV series).
