Synopse
A film like this only comes by once every so many years: where actors reveal their innermost selves, as in Ingmar Bergman’s "Scenes from a Marriage" or Mike Nichols’ "Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?" It is no coincidence that Zandvliet’s protagonist Thea Barfoed (Paprika Steen) agonizes her way through "Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?" on stage night after night. The actress has previously playedjust about every role imaginable.
Regie
MARTIN ZANDVLIET won several prizes for his debut film Applause (FILMFEST HAMBURG 009). This was followed by the equally successful Dirch (2011) and Teddy Bear (2012).
