Synopse
ANIMATION The thrilling story of a three-month journey undertaken by the well-known Polish reporter Ryszard Kapuściński through war-torn Angola. The film is loosely based on Kapuściński's eponymous novel and weaves together animation and documentary footage. Warsaw, 1975. Ryszard Kapuściński is a brilliant journalist and an idealist. He persuades the boss of his Polish news agency to send him to Angola, where a bloody civil war is tearing the country apart shortly before it is due to become independent. His journey takes him to a place that is desolate and forlorn. Angola will change him forever: he left Poland a reporter, he returns a writer.
