Synopse

The year is 2020. Worldwide, billions of people are exposed to digital and medial saturation and suffer from narcissism, hedonism, careerism and consumer mania. The result: hundreds of millions in the First World fall ill with anhedonia - an incapability to feel joy, desire or satisfaction. Franz and Fritz Freudenthal, two very different but inseparable aristo kids, are also victims of the epidemic. In a life devoid of purpose and tormented by their pathetic, pleasureless and fun-free lives, they vegetate. But there is still hope. World-famous psychotherapist Prof. Dr.Immanuel Young has developed a unique pleasure-stimulus therapy, which the brothers see their only hope of a solution. Anhedonia is a grotesque tale set in Hamburg with Robert Stadlober, Blixa Bargeld and Dirk von Lowtzow in the lead roles.
