Synopse
After shooting a documentary short film on the street children of Cairo, director Ahmed Atef was so taken up by the topic that he decided to make a feature film about it. Glue sniffing runaways and abandoned orphans make easy targets for violent gangs and sadistic policemen. And yet they resist. A disturbing, tragic film, whose sheer brutality Atef underlines with the instruments of poetic realism.
