Synopse

The mid-1990s in the Balkans. An international group of NGO staff is travelling through the region. Sophie (Mélanie Thierry) is new at the job and wants to help. Mambrú (Benicio del Toro) has seen it all and just wants to go home. Katya (Olga Kurylenko) used to be in love with Mambrú. Damir (Fedja Stukan) wants the war to end. And B (Tim Robbins) doesn't know what he wants. The team is tasked to retrieve a dead body from a well. For this, they need a rope. And have just 24 hours' time. A risky, yet ludicrous search ensues, caught up in the front lines of a war but also in the slow-moving wheels of UN bureaucracy. A Perfect Day is an exciting anti-war drama, with biting humour and a great cast.
