Synopse

One static camera, three couples, each with 20 minutes to talk about their relationship. There‘s Li, crippled after an accident at work, and his wife, who‘d like nothing better than to stay home all day and look after him. Yang and his partner can only live their love in secret: Yang doesn‘t know how to tell his wife that he loves another man. And then there‘s Kiddy and Qiao Qiao, she an experienced Karaoke Girl, he head-over-heels in love. This film is part of the special series "Chinese Independent Cinema".

GUO XIAO-DONG ist Produzent, Dokumentarfilmregisseur, Tontechniker und Editor. Er hat visuelle Kunst in Peking, Paris und Genf studiert. Heute lebt und arbeitet er in Peking. A Moment in Love ist sein zweiter Langfilm.
