Synopse

An ode to life, love and the family. In this case, however, the family consists of the gay chef, Bobby (Colin Farrell), the journalist, Jonathan (Dallas Roberts) and their friend Clare (Robin Wright Penn). Broadway director Michael Mayer's film debut is a multi-faceted emotional drama which goes back to the characters' childhood in the 70s when Bobby is orphaned and moves in with Jonathan and his mother (Sissy Spacek).

Michael Mayer (*1973) was born in Israel, went to the USA to study at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, where he lives and works today. Out in the Dark is his feature film debut.
