Synopse
In the summer of 1944, the German army carried out a bloody act of retribution in a village in Tuscany. 70 years on, the German-Italian theatre project Albicocche rosse (Red Apricots) commemorates the terrible events and asks what lessons have been learned for the present. The events leading up to the shooting of innocent civilians are reconstructed in minute detail, events that were by no means an isolated incident during the Second World War in Italy.
