Synopse

Herman and Marie, a couple in their mid-fifties, have travelled from Belgium to Istanbul to collect the luggage of their son who has died in an accident. In his rucksack, they come across some undeveloped films and a notebook on his last journey. These discoveries become an obsession for Herman and he uses the notes to make a plan: he wants to know what his son did during his last few weeks. After some hesitation, Marie joins in. On the trail of their child, the two inexperienced travellers discover not only an unknown part of the world, but also themselves. A somewhat different road movie set in Turkey, shot in sepia and varying degrees of focus. Screening on 27.09. and 29.09. in attendance of: Bart van den Bempt (Director)
