Story
DOCUMENTARY Patricio Guzmán, the Chilean doyen of the political documentary, is led by young activists into an optimistic future. Patricio Guzmán looks back at his political activity in the 1970s and is catapulted by current events in his country into the present. Corruption and inequality brought the masses onto the streets in 2019, often led by women. The film accompanies the demonstrators, documents police violence and gives participants the chance to tell of their experiences. Between sociological analysis and optimistic demands, the picture of a democratic movement emerges which could make real change possible.
