Story
“My Way” was made world famous by Frank Sinatra, although the original, “Comme d’habitude”, was written by a Frenchman: Claude “Cloclo” François. François was one of the biggest pop stars France ever produced and in the 1960s and 70s could do no wrong. Hits like “Alexandrie Alexandra” or “Je vais à Rio” became evergreens. My Way is the biopic of a very talented artist, a clever businessman and a gigolo – always on the go, ahead of his time and addicted to adoration. A sophisticated journey that starts by the Suez Canal in Egypt, where François grew up, and ends in Paris in 1978 with his untimely, almost absurd death.
