#ATELIER25 – a cooperation between FILMFEST HAMBURG and La Semaine de la Critique in Cannes since 2022 – shines a spotlight on emerging talent with a wide-ranging, curated program. This year, for the first time, in collaboration with the German newcomer initiative FIRST STEPS. Sixteen nominees have the extraordinary opportunity to gain an in-depth look at the international film and festival world during the festival.

n an exclusive setting, they will meet Olivier Pélisson (Selection Committee Feature Films, Festival de Cannes) as well as debut directors Ratchapoom Boonbunchachoke and Alice Douard, whose films A Useful Ghost and Love Letters will be presented at FILMFEST HAMBURG following their world premieres in Cannes. The program is complemented by numerous other industry events that provide hands-on insights into current developments and international networks.
