Story
In the seclusion of a small Turkish village, an unusual young woman fights for her female identity. Sibel lives with her father and sister in a mountain village near the Black Sea. She has been mute since childhood, but, thanks to a regional whistled language, she can communicate. Isolated and excluded by the villagers, the young woman secretly looks for a wolf that is supposed to be in the nearby woods. During one of her forays she comes across a young deserter from the Turkish army, who sees her with completely different eyes than she is used to. But in the village the contact between the two outsiders meets with hostility.
