MODERATION
The films in the JUNIOR section are presented by children and young people aged 11 to 16. They introduce the films in the cinema, interview invited guests and lead the audience discussions. If you enjoy being in the spotlight and are curious to ask filmmakers your own questions, this is your chance to step onto the stage. Our moderation team is supported by a professional mentor who will help you prepare and guide you along the way with plenty of valuable tips and advice.
JURY
The JUNIOR jury watches all films in competition and presents the main award, the MAJA. But being part of the jury also comes with responsibility: before a film can receive the prize, it has to be carefully discussed and debated. There may be many different opinions along the way, but in the end, only one film can win.
Do you love watching films and talking about them with others? Then join our jury in 2026! The jury will, of course, be guided and supported by a professional throughout the festival.
MOVIE KIDS
Who better to report on our films than young cinema fans themselves? That’s why the MOVIE KIDS bring you all the exciting news and stories about this year’s film programme. Young reporters aged 9 to 16 grab the microphone, interview guests, discuss the films and take a look behind the scenes of the festival. The MOVIE KIDS run their own cinema editorial team and fill their very own blog with film reviews, interviews and podcasts.
