DOCUMENTARY In fantastic Cinemascope pictures, Hamburg’s Miniatur Wunderland comes to life on the big screen. When twin brothers Frederik and Gerrit Braun realized their dream in the year 2000, they had no idea what they had created: the »Miniatur Wunderland« developed into not only the largest model railway in the world, but with 1.4 million annual visitors one of the biggest tourist attractions in Europe. A dream destination for all those wanting to immerse themselves in a magical world of tracks and trains, endless forests, cities, bridges and lakes. The landscapes are populated by thousands of tiny people, who laugh and cry and fall in love. And enchant the visitors.
