Synopse
100,000 people are reported missing in Germany every year. Most turn up again after a few days, but thousands remain missing. How do the families deal with it? On her way home from a birthday party, 31-year old Amelie (Kristin Suckow) disappears without trace. Her boyfriend Jonas calls the police, DCI Ingo Thiel and his team whirl into action. Their investigations reveal that Amelie had been interested in the St James pilgrimage to Santiago di Compostela. Thiel has another theory, for which there is almost no evidence. And what part did Amelie’s boyfriend play in her disappearance? It’s clear that Amelie obviously carried some secret whose investigation will take everyone concerned to their limits. A gripping psycho-thriller full of mystery, red herrings and traps.
