Synopse
A world of haves and have-nots: Ruben Östlund's angry mix of drama, satire and slapstick won the Palme D'Or at Cannes. Via carefully staged Instagram snaps, models Carl and Yaya take their followers on a journey through their perfect world of fashion. On a luxury cruise on a megayacht, they meet Russian oligarchs, Scandinavian IT billionaires, British arms dealers and a captain, played by Woody Harrelson, who quotes Marx when he's drunk. The cruise starts off as planned. But during the Captain's Dinner, a storm blows up and the models end up on a desert island with a bunch of billionaires and a cleaning lady (Dolly De Leon). Suddenly, the normal hierarchy is turned on its head, as the cleaner is the only person who can make a fire or catch a fish.
