Synopse
24 hours between terror and hope – a tragicomic heroic journey through the hot streets of Tel Aviv. When 18-year old Israeli soldier Shlomi is involved in house-to-house fighting in the Gaza strip, he has only one impulse: escape. Filled with panic, he runs and runs and runs. It’s a long, hard road, but eventually he arrives in Tel Aviv, where he wants to see his girlfriend one more time before she goes to Canada. And while he fights for his relationship, the Israeli army convinced that Shlomi has been taken prisoner by Hamas and begins to search for him.

DANI ROSENBERG (*1979 in Israel) studied Film in Jerusalem. His debut film The Death of Cinema and my Father Too (2020) was shown at Cannes. The Vanishing Soldier (2023) is his second feature film.
