Synopse
Part one of Greenaway’s multi-media project, “The Tulse Luper Suitcases”, to encompass films, a TV series, books, the internet and 92 DVDs, each filled with the contents of one of the suitcases packed by adventurer Tulse Luper (JJ Feild) on his travels. This film follows Luper from his childhood in Wales to Moab in Utah and on to Antwerp, Kyoto and Manchuria, from the 1920s to the fall of the Berlin Wall. It explodes with multiple possibilities, the screen divided into squares, rival commentaries, other films (Greenaway’s own), bombarding the viewer with options in a display of a bravura imagination at play.
