Synopse
Some films don't let go of you without a fight. The Scar is a good example. A brilliant interweaving of past and present, realism and fantasy, tells the story of Richard, whose life changes completely one evening. An incident in his childhood has preoccupied the mid-forties amateur ice hockey goalie ever since. 30 years on, he returns to the place of his humiliation to take his revenge. An extremely impressive film which shows that the deepest wounds aren't always the most visible. And that kids' games aren't always innocent.
Regie
Jimmy Larouche (1977) studied at the Université de Sherbrooke near Montréal. The Scar is his feature film debut after nine shorts, some of which won prizes.
