Synopse
Battling nature in the form of a huge human drama: A visually impressive period drama about the settlement of the Danish moors 250 years ago with a brilliant Mads Mikkelsen in the lead role. Denmark in the 18th century: a soldier called Ludvig Kahlen (Mads Mikkelsen) follows the command of his king and intends to tame the wild moors of Jutland – a sinister no-man’s land full of brutal highwaymen, hungry wolves and above all the most pitiless of all enemies: Mother Nature. To top it all, an unscrupulous landowner also declares hostilities.
Regie
