Synopse

SERIES Canadian director Xavier Dolan delivers a convincing performance with his first drama series, which will be shown in its entirety for the first time at a festival at FILMFEST HAMBURG. When the matriarch of the Larouche family dies, the opening of her will sets in motion a series of shocking revelations that date back decades. In the 1990s, Mimi, her brother Julian and his friend Logan were an inseparable trio, but after a traumatic event, the family's lives and their friendship have changed forever. And it becomes clear that the secret of the past still has an impact on the present.

XAVIER DOLAN (*1989 in Montreal) has been one of the most important voices of new queer cinema since his debut I Killed My Mother (2009). Six of his films have already screened at FILMFEST HAMBURG, most recently Matthias & Maxime (2019).
